We hosted our second tweetchat in collaboration with The Walrus to discuss the state of surveillance and more aspects to privacy issues in the digital age.
The conversation started off with a look into surveillance and big data. The relationship between privacy and security was brought up shortly after. There was an agreement between several participants who thought that privacy shouldn’t be traded in for security–and that a democratic society should have both.
Following this, we asked the question: Is privacy dead?
